Description:

This is an original botanical print from the first edition of The Camellia, published in England in 1956. The illustrations were done by noted 20th-century botanical artists Paul Jones (1921-1997) and Raymond Boothe (1929-). Jones also illustrated the stunning Flora Superba and Flora Magnifica, both of which have been favorably compared to Dr. Robert Thornton's famous Temple of Flora in style.

Excellent condition overall on fine rag paper; small area of light paper handling in the bottom corner where the print was bound (well outside the image area).
